1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Gideon ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Gideon is a YouTube creator intelligence platform that provides trend monitoring, AI-generated content ideas, script generation, analytics, and channel management tools. The Service requires a YouTube account connected via Google OAuth.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to generate content that violates YouTube's Terms of Service
  • Attempt to access another user's account or data
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
  • Resell or redistribute access to the Service without written permission

5. AI-Generated Content

Gideon uses AI models to generate ideas, scripts, and analysis. AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific needs. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and publishing any content derived from the Service.

6. Subscription and Payment

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months. All prices are in USD. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your channel data and any content you create. You grant Gideon a limited licence to process your data to provide the Service. The Gideon platform, brand, and software are owned by Gideon and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from security vulnerabilities.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gideon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amounts paid by you in the 12 months prior to the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify active subscribers of material changes via email.
